The National Anger Management Association (NAMA) is the international professional association (represented in 30 countries) for the fields of anger management, crisis intervention, domestic violence and parent training. Membership levels (Member, Fellow, Diplomate) are open to any anger management, domestic violence, or parent training professional. Specialist certification for anger management (CAMS), domestic violence (CDVS), crisis intervention (CCIS), and parent training (CPTS) are offered to individuals completing authorized training programs. The NAMA state-of-the-art Code of Ethics is strictly enforced.
NAMA recognizes various techniques and methods for effectively treating Anger Management, Parent Training, Crisis Intervention, and Domestic Violence and supports expanding the body of knowledge and effective (evidence-based) solution models. The Anger Management, Parent Training, Crisis Intervention, and Domestic Violence Specialist Certifications are Internationally recognized credentials, for example, the NAMA Anger Management Specialist Certification is recognized by all courts in the US. NAMA also offers unique Parent Training and Domestic Violence, Specialist training, and credentialing emphasizing safety (for ALL), cognitive behavioral approach, attention to power/control issues, and appropriate de-escalation techniques.

Parent Training Specialist I & II (CPTS-I-II) Training - September 12-13, 2024 - This live training is conducted by Growth Central Training on the Zoom platform.
